I love drawing. To be able to capture the beauty of one’s sole or a moment in time is such an energetic charge of emotion. Drawings start out as this one-dimensional thing and as you interact with the subject, graphite and tools… the drawing takes on life. I is so fun to work within the space between light and dark, the place where neither the subject nor the background can be distinguished as separate, where features meld or disappear.
(Older drawing) I made this for a friend who embodies the love of Christ.
(Older drawing) I drew this portrait of the parents for a very good friend of mine. It is a lot of fun drawing with emotion and feeling for someone you care about!
(Older drawing)What a great couple these two make. I made this for my two friends Clarence and Mona Lisa. I am glad Clarence "Buck" had a chance to see it, enjoy it before he passed. He was a skilled craftsman/woodworker.
